Third consecutive time I go to the Trail of hamlets close to the house. This year the race is part of the Challenge Trail South Isère (which I will not participate), which allows him to have a hundred competitors in both formats.
I align myself with the great Bernard routes. 28km to the program and 1300D + with splendid views of the Obiou , Le Mont-Aiguille and the Vercors, all under the sun finally there!

The start was given at 9:15. We keep the same race strategy than in the Round of Tram : I'm behind Bernard as usual before taking off on the first climb (me and be joined by Mr. finisher!). We are 975m, you have to climb up towards the Chauvet 1475m above sea level. I run with a Gapençais, Roberto and his colleague Gérard club.
-
We will go almost 3 / 4 of the course together and to treat for the eyes!
-
After the turn of Chauvet, we descend to the Col de l'Holme (1208m) to get to High Pass (1480m). The hard part is done, no one joined us in the climb.
-
I decide to let go of the horses in the big downhill and follow the following two high alpine. Bad choice since I left a lot of feathers and bumps that follow are a real ordeal. I left behind ...
A headache take me, I ko! I decided to stop my race 1 or 2 'time to make a gel, drink 50cl of energy drink, in short, empty my bottle cage and her back pocket!
Finally ... a good idea since I galley another 5 minutes walking good resume and finally a good look!
-
Bernard mainenant me in their sights but do not hang up immediately because also suffers a lot. Only one runner passed me but I have doubled in the meantime another 1-1 = 0 is almost a first on a trail where I used to crack.
-
Bernard comes and me want to end up together, there is a beautiful climb 2km which we will be in walking: In front, Gerard (Hautes-Alpes, you follow?) Is 2 'and we see a rider behind us at the foot the coast is just 300m ... finished the classification will not move.
I have time to kiss my wife and take my little piece, and we expect Bernard crossed the finish line in 2:46 every 3 '
-
Our ranking 12 and 13 of about 50 to 60 participants.
, le 3ème est justement le coureur qui m'a doublé ! Bernard is the second surprise V3 and I am Senior 4 th, the third is just the rider who passed me!
We expect the awards to Bernard and surprise, I leave with a camelback SALOMON REVO, great product.
-
A big thank you to the organization that is at the top each year. We were treated to good weather and I can assure you that this journey worth it!
-
Finally we provide a picnic near the multipurpose room then towards Gap to see the grandparents and returned home at night, yes a Super Sunday

Following test COLUMBIA Ravenous:
Still as good cushioning, I concquis. Good grip on descents even on slopes.
As against a big 0 points for lacing: I had to redo my loop when I left tight shoes like crazy. I took a big light bulb under the heel for the shoe slipped while the yaw stood out ... fortunately there was only 28km, Les 2 Alpes, it will not forgive!

Hoho, but thee modest victory
4em S, but what champagne!
BRAVO yes good race.
Same conclusion regarding the Ravenous, there's a BUG at the laces, there are too Boudinet should be shot like a donkey for proper tightening 1/un 2/éviter of having to redo them along the way.
Garmin thee not a link? I would be curious to see how these bumps swallow you.
@ Lexel

Thank you Mr. PACA
