Cross of Quaix in chartreuse - 18/05/08 - 18km 600D + Quaix (dep38.)

Among the races last minute, I participated in the "Cross of the fair" with my friend Bruno (first for him, he had never participated in a cross over 14km):

The interest of non-sport event is aiding the association "the breath of Mouhoun" (with the population exchange, assistance to schools in and around Boromo in Burkina Faso)

This race was a good training on hilly terrain to my next goal, the trail of Côtes de Corps (June 8).

No constraint chrono for this Sunday but Bruno was so much faster than I thought and finally I came close my speed competition (I honestly think that 3 or 4 minutes I almost would not have done better myself !).

We arrived in 1h34'13 "on 60 and 61st out of 168 seats.

The course was superb with brittle descents, winding paths all you need for a good cross in the mountains what!

The organization and tagging was perfect, well done to all. We were over 150 participants, a pretty little village of chartreuse.
